THINKCAR ADAS
THINKCAR ADAS Calibration Kit is a portable ADAS calibration device developed by THINKCAR. It uses five-wire and cross laser instrument to assist in centering and positioning, which is more accurate. THINKCAR ADAS(Advanced Driving Assistance System) integrates ACC, LDW, AVM, BSD system calibrations function.
AVM
The panoramic surround view system sets up 4 to 8 wide-angle cameras around the car that can cover all the field of view around the car, and processes the multiple video images collected at the same time into a 360-degree top view of the car’s surroundings. The display on the screen allows the driver to clearly check whether there are obstacles around the vehicle and understand the relative position and distance of the obstacles, helping the driver to park the vehicle easily. Some cars can realize 3D perspective.
BSD
The blind spot monitoring system uses sensors (visual sensors, millimeter wave radar) installed at the rear or side of the vehicle to detect incoming vehicles or pedestrians. The electronic control unit analyzes and processes the information collected by the sensors. If there are vehicles or pedestrians in the blind area, The display unit will notify the driver by sounding an alarm or displaying an alarm message in the rear view mirror.
LDW
The lane departure warning( LDW) is a system that assists the driver in reducing traffic accidents due to lane departure by warning; these functions are realized by the front camera, and some mid-to-high-end cars are also equipped with road standard recognition functions
ACC
Adaptive cruise is a comfortable driving assistance function. If the front of the vehicle is clear, the adaptive cruise (ACC) will maintain the set maximum cruise speed and move forward. If it detects a vehicle ahead, the adaptive cruise (ACC) will reduce the speed as needed, and keep distance with front vehicles until the appropriate cruising speed is reached.
THINKCAR ADAS support static calibration by calibrating the main frame and target pattern, or initiate the learning process through the calibration software in the diagnostic equipment for dynamic calibration.
